Coaching is “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential” (ICF).
“ADHD coaching is a specialty skill set that empowers clients to manage their attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity” (PAAC).
In an introductory session, you and I would identify the goals that you want to accomplish with coaching support. This includes , to some extent, how often you and I might meet and how long the coaching may last.
Each session will generally follow these steps:
Check in on your progress
Establish the focus for our session today
Explore options and possibilities
Create an action plan and address any obstacles
Develop accountability structures and confirm commitment
Recap, identify new perspectives, and connect to long-term goals/vision
